Hi everyone- this is Zack & Anne. We started a GoFundMe to raise funds for our dear friend Ebrima Nyang in Serrekunda, Gambia. In 2010, Ebrima and his family hosted us with great generosity in their home for over 2 weeks.

A few years ago, Ebrima's wife was diagnosed with cancer. As medical expenses mounted, Ebrima's last ditch effort was to sell his taxi in hopes that it would save her life, but tragically she still passed away, leaving him heartbroken and without a means to make a living and support his mother.

We love these people! Some of the most kindhearted we have ever met, and extremely generous in a context of chronic poverty. Zack recently sent Ebrima $1500 to help with purchasing a new (used) taxi, but the cost of cars in The Gambia has risen a lot and it wasn't enough.

So we're asking if any of you all would be willing to chip in to help us get our friend back on his feet. Any amount helps! Thank you.
