We would love to start a family one day, but we'll need a little help from science to do it! If you were thinking of giving us a wedding gift we'd really appreciate a donation to our baby-making fund.

Unfortunately, as a same-sex couple we are not eligible for NHS-funded fertility treatment in our local area. The private costs of three rounds of IUI would be around £2,500, while one round of IVF would cost about £5,000 (there are also additional costs around fertility testing, screening etc). It is hard to predict how much it might cost to make a baby as it very much depends on the success of treatment - but any contributions towards these costs would mean so much to us.
