Help Mike

Mike is having both health and financial problems that have him on the verge of homelessness. His power has been shut off twice. After exhausting his savings, he's turned to local friends, family, and area agencies for help. He's also applied for disability.

Mike takes medication for his long-term health issues. After he lost his insurance, he wasn't able to afford them and became dangerously ill. Until he becomes eligible for disability and those medications are covered, his life is at risk.

Many of us know Mike from his cheerful presence at previous Writer Unboxed conferences, and his witty and kind banter on the blog and social media sites. He's always the first one to say something kind, and the last one to accept a compliment. He's been a steady support for so many of us.
