My name is Lexi Archer and I am setting up this GoFund me for my Father, Sam Archer. My dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 throat cancer back in August, when the doctors at The OSU’s James Cancer Hospital discovered a 13.5 cm mass growing on the inner wall of his esophagus. On September 11, Dad underwent a full laryngectomy operation. This is the process of removing his entire voice box and a portion of his esophagus.
The 12 hour surgery was a success and he is now undergoing radiation treatments. He is completing daily treatment at OSU, and these will continue thru 12/29/23. Although Dad is able to work an abbreviated work schedule now, he is not working full 40 hour weeks due to the scheduling conflicts with his radiation treatments. The amount of hours that he is working will most likely reduce as these treatments begin to take their toll on Dad’s strength.
We are setting up this account to help fund Dad’s extensive medical bills and lost work wages. Any contribution that you are able to put forward, is greatly appreciated and will go directly covering these expenses.
