My name is Randy, and I’m reaching out for help as my family faces a series of challenges that have made it difficult to stay afloat. My wife, Mandi, is disabled and unable to work, and we have two young daughters, ages 6 and 8, who depend on us. Earlier this year, we lost our food assistance, and just a few days ago, our Medicaid coverage was taken away. On top of that, I’ve been dealing with health issues since July, including a pre-diabetic diagnosis and ongoing seizures, which have made it even harder to keep up with daily responsibilities.

One of our biggest struggles right now is transportation. Mandi’s GMC Acadia has needed a new ECM and programming for over a year, leaving us with only my old 2005 F150. The truck has nearly 300,000 miles, no air conditioning, and windows that don’t open, making it tough to get to medical appointments and impossible for our daughters to get to school. We’ve had to start homeschooling because we simply don’t have reliable transportation. Fixing Mandi’s vehicle would make a huge difference, allowing us to get to doctor visits, cut down on gas costs, and help our girls return to school.

We’re also struggling to keep up with rent, and falling behind puts our water and power at risk of being shut off. Any support would help us keep our home stable and put food on the table for our family. We’re just trying to get caught up and create a safe, healthy environment for our daughters.
