My name is Katrina, and recently my family and I experienced the devastating loss of our only vehicle due to theft in December 2024. We had Insurance, and they just now finally told us that they were not going to pay. Due to late car payments, too many toll tickets and my coverage was not long enough. We were managing thinking everything was going to be OK. Well we got a shock that it is not. This unexpected event has turned our daily lives upside down. With just one unreliable car left—my daughter's, which is barely running—we've been forced to completely rearrange our schedules. Coordinating work, school, errands, and doctor appointments for four people has become a daily struggle. Sometimes, we have to miss work or important events simply because we can't get there.

Our family consists of myself, my husband, and our two daughters. We've had to rely on friends, rideshare services, and a lot of patience to get by. The added costs and stress have been overwhelming, and it's been especially hard on our daughters, who are trying to keep up with their school commitments. We never imagined we'd be in this position, but we're reaching out for help so we can get back on our feet and regain some stability for our family.
