Help our Family Recover from this Fire

Hello,

my name is Madison and I grew up with my family, my whole life in St. Louis. I’ve always said that I could never imagine a better place to grow up. Sadly, on Thursday, March 21st my childhood home was engulfed in flames while my mom, Lisa, and her cat, Lily, were inside.

we are absolutely devastated to see the entire house gone and all the belongings and memories held inside of it. Many people in the community who knew myself and my family also share some pretty great memories inside the walls of this house as well.

so happy to report that my mom made it out safely, and that after a couple hours of searching they even were able to find Lilly alive as well! Lilly is however fighting at the vet to make it out of this okay. She has burns on 20% of her body and her kidneys are not functioning properly. The vet believes she will make a full recovery, but it’s going to be a long road of treatments ahead to make sure she is OK.

we are so grateful that everyone is safe and alive, but know this is going to be a long road ahead of us . Anything you can donate will go straight to helping my mom restart her life after losing everything.
