We are a family of four who recently lost everything we own, including one of our pets and one of our working vehicles, in a house fire while we were on vacation in Galveston, Texas. Both of us are full-time working parents to two little girls, ages 4 and 6, and I am currently 27 weeks pregnant with our son, due in October. Our house is a total loss, and we are facing the challenge of starting over with almost nothing.

Funds will help us replace what we can, including our girls’ school clothes as the first day of school is just two weeks away, along with room and board, groceries, gas to get back and forth to work and doctors appointments, paying off medical bills, and replacing my husband's truck. Anything helps as we try to rebuild our lives and provide stability for our children during this difficult time.

This is the worst day of my life, but I am thankful that none of my family members were harmed and we know material things can be replaced. We look forward to rebuilding and appreciate any support from our community. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to us.
