Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I am reaching out to you with heavy hearts, seeking support after a life-shattering event that has left our family in crisis. My husband, a dedicated and caring family man, was unjustly taken from us coming home from work and being unjustly stopped simply for being in a work truck and seeming suspicious.

I had no time to prepare for what came next. My husband was deported to Honduras without any warning, me or my children didn’t even have the opportunity to say goodbye properly. As I am now alone with my 3 children living costs and expenses begin to pile up and also planning how to rebuild and move on with life and how we are going to adjust a possibly move to another country things have become very difficult for me alone with my 3 young children.

Mi esposo, un hombre de familia dedicado y cariñoso, fue retirado injustamente de nosotros al volver a casa del trabajo y ser detenido injustamente simplemente por estar en un camión de trabajo y parecer sospechoso. No tuve tiempo de prepararme para lo que venía después. Mi esposo fue deportado a Honduras sin previo aviso, yo o mis hijos ni siquiera tuvimos la oportunidad de despedirnos adecuadamente. Como ahora estoy solo con mis 3 hijos, los costos de vida y los gastos comienzan a acumularse y también estoy planeando cómo reconstruir y seguir adelante con la vida y cómo vamos a ajustar una posible mudanza a otro país, las cosas se han vuelto muy difíciles para mí solo con mis 3 hijos pequeños. El impacto en mi familia ha sido devastador, pero creemos que con la ayuda de nuestra comunidad, podemos reconstruir. Por favor, considere donar o compartir nuestra historia, todo ayuda.
