On July 4th, our lives changed in an instant. Fireworks were set off in the wooded area behind our apartment complex, and the resulting fire destroyed our home. Myself, their dad, and our two children lost everything we owned. We escaped with only the clothes on our backs, and now we are facing the overwhelming task of rebuilding our lives from scratch.
