Our family is preparing for a very special moment—my son Diego’s graduation from basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina on November 20th. This ceremony marks the culmination of months of hard work, dedication, and sacrifice, and we are incredibly proud of all that Diego has accomplished. Being there in person to celebrate this milestone is deeply important to us, as we want to show Diego just how much we love him and how proud we are of his achievements.

However, our family has faced some significant challenges. My husband suffered a stroke, and I have been at home caring for him. With our only income coming from his long-term disability check, it has been difficult to manage extra expenses. Despite these hardships, we are determined to be there for Diego and make sure he feels supported on this important day.

We are raising funds to help cover the costs of travel, lodging, and meals for our family to attend Diego’s graduation.
