Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart because our dog Violet recently had an accident. She had a sudden encounter with an echidna, and one of its spines pierced her eye. The injury is very serious — the spine went deep, and she now needs urgent surgery to remove it and receive stitches in her pupil.

The estimated cost of the surgery is $3,000 and we already spent $1000 for emergency vet bills during this weekend. It’s a lot to manage all at once, and while I normally wouldn’t ask for help, this is an emergency.

She means the world to us, and we want to do everything we can to save her eye. If you’re able to contribute, no matter the amount, it would mean everything to us. And if you’re not in a position to give, simply sharing this would help more than you know.
