<div>I’m reaching out with a heavy heart because our dog Violet recently had an accident. She had a sudden encounter with an echidna, and one of its spines pierced her eye. The injury is very serious — the spine went deep, and she now needs urgent surgery to remove it and receive stitches in her pupil.

<div>The estimated cost of the surgery is $3,000 and we already spent $1000 for emergency vet bills during this weekend. It’s a lot to manage all at once, and while I normally wouldn’t ask for help, this is an emergency.
