My dad was about to leave work on 12/8 at 3pm when he was stopped by ICE and is being detained at a county jail while he waits to be sent to a facility in another state, to then be sent to Laos. He was here legally. People who have lived here for decades, paid taxes, built their lives here, are being ripped away from everything they know.

He was determined to give his best for his family. He loved and spoiled his grandchildren so much. He has worked so hard to build the life he wanted for himself and his family.

Our hearts are shattered. We didn’t even get to say goodbye. This has been one of the hardest things my family has ever gone through. He will be leaving his entire life, his wife, kids, grandkids, siblings, friends, and a place he's called home for almost 50 years.

We are asking for your support, anything will help! This will help him get on his feet in a country he hasn’t been in since he was 5 years old.
