Our dad’s life changed overnight. On October 1st, he suddenly lost his vision in both eyes. Just days before, he was completely independent — working, driving, and living life as he always had. Now, he’s facing a world of uncertainty, unable to see and without a clear diagnosis for what caused this to happen.

Watching him go from strong and self-sufficient to needing constant help has been heartbreaking for our family. We are doing everything we can to support him, but the road ahead is unknown. Between medical visits, testing, potential treatments, and the adjustments he’ll need to make to his home and daily life, the expenses are overwhelming.

La vida de nuestro papá cambió de la noche a la mañana. El 1 de octubre, perdió la vista repentinamente en ambos ojos. Días antes, era completamente independiente: trabajaba, manejaba y vivía su vida como siempre lo había hecho. Ahora enfrenta un futuro incierto, sin poder ver y sin un diagnóstico claro de lo que causó esto.

Verlo pasar de ser fuerte e independiente a necesitar ayuda constante ha sido muy doloroso para nuestra familia. Estamos haciendo todo lo posible para apoyarlo, pero el camino que tenemos por delante es incierto.
