Help our children cheated of their dreams & life savings

This fundraiser is for around 50 minors and young adults from all over the world (“students” below) who were attending the dance education Copenhagen Dance Education (“CDE” below) 2024-2025.

These students have all paid school tuitions, apartment deposits and rent ranging from 10 000 to 35 000 EUR each that has now been stolen from them.

Just three weeks after the education started the CEO/owner/founder (“XXX” below) suddenly left the country with all the money the students had paid.

Without leadership and financing the school shut down immediately, even the website (copenhagendanceeducation.com) and the Instagram-account (“copenhagendanceeducation”) have been closed down.

Since XXX hadn’t even paid the landlords the rent from the students the students were kicked out of their apartments only days later without anywhere to stay.

The students were all panicked, heartbroken and devasted having had their dreams broken and their life savings stolen from them.

We, all the parents of these students, are now trying to raise money to:

1) Get a lawyer and file a lawsuit for fraud against XXX with the hope of getting at least some of the student’s money back. The cost of the legal representation alone ranges from 13 000 to 40 000 EUR.

2) Pay some of the money back to our students to give them some hope back and the possibility to pursue their dreams anew.

I am the parent of one of those young adults. This cause is incredibly important to me, and all the other parents, as you can imagine.
