Hello,

My name is Hannah, I am the mom to sweet baby Blake Avery, born June 16,2025 @10:46am. At just 33 weeks into my pregnancy, we received devastating news—our baby girl has been diagnosed with a life-threatening congenital heart condition.

She has critical pulmonary valve stenosis, but that’s only part of her complex diagnosis. She also has a restricted tricuspid valve, severe regurgitation in her mitral valve leaflets, and a hypoplastic (underdeveloped) and hypertrophied (thickened) right ventricle. Each of these conditions on their own is serious—together, they make her case extremely high risk and require immediate and intensive care after birth.

As soon as she was born, she was rushed to the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Texas Children’s Hospital – Downtown. Where she will remain now for weeks, possibly months, while her medical team works to stabilize and treat her. She will/has needed surgery, cardiac interventions, and around-the-clock specialized care.

We are doing everything we can to navigate this difficult situation, but emotionally and financially, this has taken a massive toll on our family. That’s why we are humbly asking for help.

We’ve set a goal of $15,000 to help us cover:

• Medical costs not covered by insurance

• Parking fees at the hospital (which quickly add up)

• Gas and travel between home and the hospital

• Lost income from time off work

• Meals and temporary accommodations as we stay near our baby girl downtown.

No parent can ever truly prepare for something like this, emotionally or financially. We are doing everything we can to stay strong for our daughter, but we can’t do this alone. Your support, whether financial or through your prayers, means the world to us.
