Help Otto – Four Year Old Boy Fighting Cancer

Hi, my name is Donna, and I am fundraising for Krista, my granddaughter. Krista is the mother of her 4-year-old son, Otto. Let me share her story in her words.

“Hello, my name is Krista Londos, and I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart asking for help. My precious 4-year-old son, Otto, was diagnosed with cancer (Burkitt lymphoma), which is the most aggressive form of lymphoma. After receiving this devastating news, our lives have been turned upside down.

As a single mother of two, taking care of Otto and his baby sister Laila - who is just 10 months old - each and every day has been tough as our world revolves around fighting this battle together. I had to make the gut-wrenching decision to take leave from work to be by Otto's side, leaving us in a precarious financial situation. The mounting medical bills, travel expenses, and even just day-to-day costs are overwhelming. I am so appreciative for my family's help, prayers, and support throughout this time, though with no end in sight at the moment, just getting by is becoming harder with each passing day.

Each morning is a true test of strength and resilience, watching my little boy fight with all his might against this horrible disease. The nights are long, and some days are worse than others, but through it all, Otto's spirit shines brighter than ever. Thanks to family and the support of his newfound nurse friends, his spirit is still going strong. He is my brave little warrior and will forever be my inspiration to keep going no matter how tough the road ahead may seem.
