Help Othman’s Gazan Family Survive and Start Again
My name is Othman. I am originally from Gaza, and I have recently moved to the United Kingdom to pursue my studies.
I am launching this campaign to support my family in Gaza, who, like so many others, have had their lives devastated by the ongoing war. While I am now safe, my loved ones continue to endure unimaginable hardship every single day.
Earlier, with the help of kind and generous people around the world, I was able to reach the UK through a scholarship. The funds raised in my previous GoFundMe campaign helped me cover the urgent personal costs of evacuation, travel, and adapting to life in a completely new country after being forced to leave Gaza. I will always be deeply grateful for that support; it changed my life and gave me safety.
But while I am now physically safe, my heart remains in Gaza.
My family is still there, living under extremely difficult and unstable conditions. Every day, I hear their voices filled with fear, uncertainty, and exhaustion. As I try to rebuild my life in the UK, I carry the constant pain of knowing that my loved ones are still struggling to survive with limited access to basic necessities and security.
This new campaign is not for me. It is for my family.
The funds raised will go directly toward:
1-Covering basic living needs such as food, shelter, and essentials.
2-Supporting emergency expenses as conditions continue to change.
3-Helping my family survive now and prepare for a chance to start again when it becomes possible
As someone who has lived through this displacement, I know how powerful even small support can be. What seems modest to one person can mean safety, dignity, and hope for another.
I am doing everything I can from the UK, studying and rebuilding, but I cannot help my family alone.
If you are able to donate, share, or simply keep my family in your thoughts, it truly means more than words can express. Your kindness can help them survive today and hold on to hope for tomorrow.
Thank you for standing with us.
Thank you for not looking away.
Thank you for helping my family start again
