Hi, my name is Sera, and I’m reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart to ask for help in saving the life of my beloved dog, Oso. Oso isn’t just a pet — he’s my soul dog, my best friend, and the light of my life. Anyone who’s met him knows how sweet, gentle, and full of joy he is. He has the biggest personality and a tail that never stops wagging. Recently, Oso began having serious trouble breathing. After rushing him to the vet and undergoing a series of tests, we received heartbreaking news: he has pleural effusion, a condition where fluid builds up around the lungs, making it incredibly difficult to breathe. A CT scan revealed the cause — a twisted lung lobe. To save his life, Oso needs surgery to remove the damaged lung. The vets are confident that with this operation, he has a strong chance of recovery and can return to his happy, goofy self. The surgery is time-sensitive, and without it, his condition will worsen. The total cost of the procedure, hospitalization, and aftercare is more than I can manage alone. I’ve already poured everything I have into his diagnosis and care so far. It’s incredibly hard to ask for help — but I’m doing it for Oso, because he deserves every chance to keep living the joyful life he loves.
