Help Orphanage in my native town Zhytomyr Ukraine

Hi everybody ! My name is Tanya Antonova . Live in Newtownmountkennedy. Co .Wicklow, Ireland. 

I am originally from a Ukrainian town called Zhytomyr. My mum has been running an orphanage for the last 26 years. She has 62 kids under 6 years old. 16 of them are infants and 21 of them have some problems with health like Down syndrome, cerebral pasys ect . This place is situated in Zhytomyr, the town has been bombed a couple times already. Staff are leaving which is very understandable. Staff who have left have had very tough lives which now they spend most of time in a bunker , they are extremely fearful when asked to be able to look and care about children. My mum and dad are staying with them all time. Mum has Parkinsons , dad has some problem with heart. The amount of stress they live in is enormous.

My mum has asked me for help directly to the orphanage with money. She sent me the orphanage bank account .The reason I am not asking for donations to Redcross, Unicef etc. is because although these organizations are helpful, we have no idea when help will actually reach real places. There is a lot of support locally in the community for food, clothes etc. But I am here asking for support for adequate living conditions for children and staff. This includes water, electricity, transport etc. Most financial and material resources are going towards the army right now, and these needs may sometimes not be the first priority. I am trying to collect some donations and send them. If you are intrested to donate or help spread the word about what I am trying to do I would extremely apprecciate you!!❤❤❤❤❤

Irish people are so helpful and kind !! They do a lot for Ukrainians but my massage is to help kids who are in Zhitomyr orphanage!!
