For most of 2025 and early 2026, my brother Orlando faced a series of health challenges that turned his life upside down. He was in and out of the hospital every two weeks, struggling with Congestive Heart Failure and Pulmonary Edema. Orlando had just started a new job, but his illness made it impossible to keep working. Even when he tried to return, he could only make it until lunch before needing to go back to the ER. Eventually, his doctors told him he could not continue working for fear of a heart attack.
Now, Orlando is facing eviction from his apartment and must leave by February 11th. With nowhere to go, I am doing my best to help him, but my own resources are limited as I am on a fixed income. The funds raised will go directly toward a motel stay, storage for his belongings, and a rental moving truck. We have a lead on a small apartment that may be available in March or April, and I will help with his rent when that time comes. For now, a safe place to stay is our top priority. Orlando is feeling much better, is finally off oxygen, and has lost 30 pounds of water weight. He is hopeful about finding a job soon, but we need to get him through this immediate crisis. He also has a small, well-behaved dog who will be with him.
Help, I am asking for monetary help for my brother, Orlando. We are too proud and even ashamed to ask but he is in dire need. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. Thank you and may God bless you tenfold.
