In August 2023, we were evicted from our home due to difficulties paying rent. We moved into an extended-stay hotel by the airport where we stayed for nearly two and a half years. Life there was incredibly difficult, and we were surviving day by day.

On October 21, 2025, we were abruptly denied entry to the hotel and had nowhere else to go. Thankfully, our amazing friends Danna and Kira offered us this Airbnb as a temporary safe place. Their generosity has allowed us to finally breathe and start focusing on stability after years of survival mode.

We are hoping to stay here until January 1, 2026, which would give our child Ori some much-needed stability and allow us to access resources and support for permanent housing. Without this, our only alternative would be living in our car with our cat, which is unsafe and not sustainable.

The total cost to reserve this Airbnb until January 1 is $3,766. We can contribute part of this ourselves, but we need help covering the immediate portion of $2,700 to secure the stay. Any additional support will go directly toward keeping this safe space for our family until January 1.
