I’ve spent the last two years building something that should already exist:
The Village, a real-world hub and an interactive online world that helps disabled and vulnerable people get the right support before things reach crisis.
It’s a new system architecture, built from lived experience and backed by hundreds of policy solutions, partners, tools, and prototypes.
I’ve built all of this alone, with no income, no savings, and no safety net - because the gaps in the system cost people their lives.
Now I finally have a physical premises to turn this vision into reality and the designs for the digital ecosystem to make it a reality for everyone.
But I urgently need help to cover rent, repairs, and basic costs so I can open the doors.
If you’ve ever watched someone fall through the cracks, or fallen yourself, you know why this matters.
Even £5 makes a difference.
You’re funding the first real alternative to the system that’s been failing for decades.
Without support, the premises I’ve worked so hard to secure could be lost. And once it’s gone, the opportunity to open the first Village prototype becomes further from reality.

What The Funds Would Be Used For:
Immediate & Urgent Needs
• Covering rent for the premises (to keep the doors from closing before they open)
• Essential repairs and safety fixes
• Basic equipment to run the space (tables, chairs, shelves, storage)
• Heating, electricity, insurance, and legal costs
• Accessibility upgrades
Build & Launch
• Digital Village development (interactive tools, partner spaces)
• Printing materials, signage, outreach
• Setting up workshops, community sessions, and accessibility tools
• Paying for a few weeks of living costs so Hope can work full-time on launch without collapsing financially
If a place like The Village had existed when I needed it, my life would have been completely different.
Instead, like so many others, I had to become my own caseworker, navigator, and crisis manager just to survive systems that weren’t built for someone like me.
So I built the thing that should have saved me.
The Village is both a physical hub and an interactive online world.
Every building represents a real partner, resource, or solution.
Every path guides you to the right support.
It’s early help, joined-up care, lived-experience design, digital inclusion, and community, all in one place, replacing endless silos.
I have spent thousands of hours designing the architecture, writing the policy frameworks, building the digital world, and preparing the physical premises.
I’ve done it with no stable income, purely on belief, stubbornness, and the refusal to let other people fall through the cracks the way I did.
Now I’m at the final hurdle.
I have the premises. I have the models. I have the partners.
But I urgently need support to cover rent, essential repairs, equipment, and basic costs so I can finally open the doors.
This isn’t charity: it’s investment in a blueprint that councils, employers, and communities desperately need.
A world-first model created by someone who lived the gaps and built the solution.
If you can give anything, it brings The Village one step closer to becoming real for the people who need it today.
I can’t do this alone anymore.
But together, we can build something that protects people long before crisis.
Thank you for helping me make this real.
