Rise & Restore Women’s Transitional Home was created out of a deep desire to help women rebuild their lives after some of life’s most difficult challenges. Many women in our communities are trying to start over after battling addiction, leaving abusive relationships, or returning home after incarceration. Unfortunately, when they are ready to change their lives, they often face a major barrier — they have nowhere safe and supportive to go. Rise & Restore was founded to be that safe place. Our program is designed to provide women with more than just a roof over their heads. We offer a 12-month transitional housing program focused on healing, personal growth, and long-term stability. Women in the program receive supportive services such as case management, life skills training, job readiness support, peer support groups, and optional faith-based encouragement to help them rebuild their confidence and independence.

The goal of Rise & Restore is simple but powerful: to help women rise from their past and restore their future. This fundraiser is being launched to help us secure the resources needed to open and operate the home in Martinsville, Virginia, where we plan to serve 5–10 women at a time. Funds will support essential needs such as housing preparation, furnishings, program materials, and supportive services that will help residents successfully transition back into the community.
