Michelle Stoeffler is a dedicated art educator with over two decades of experience inspiring creativity in students from middle school through adulthood. Holding a Master’s degree in Arts Education from Adelphi University, Michelle combines a strong academic background with extensive hands-on teaching in diverse settings, including public schools, community studios, and university continuing education programs. Passionate about cultivating artistic skills and critical thinking, she integrates art history and contemporary media literacy into her lessons to help students explore both technique and meaning. Michelle is also an active lecturer and community volunteer, sharing her love of art through engaging talks and meaningful service. Certified in both Texas and New York, she continues to enrich young learners and adult students alike with her expertise in visual arts, multimedia, and creative expression.

Recently, the local school district announced significant cuts to fine arts funding, leaving students and community members with very few opportunities to explore art. Michelle saw this gap and felt compelled to act. She is now working to open a small, 200 square foot commercial art studio that will offer stained glass, ceramics, sewing, painting, and crafts classes to people of all ages. This studio will be a welcoming space for creative expression, skill-building, and community connection.

The funds raised will go directly toward the deposit for the studio, helping Michelle secure a location and begin offering classes as soon as possible.
