I'm raising £6,200 for disability support

I'm raising money to pursue the "Equality & Diversity in Society" master's degree, a transformative course that will greatly enhance my ability to champion social justice and inclusivity within our union. With over 17 years of dedicated experience in supporting, advising, and advocating for people with disabilities, I have consistently demonstrated my commitment to fostering equitable environments and advocating for workers' rights.

My professional journey includes running advice services, leading diversity training workshops, developing inclusive policies, and supporting individuals facing discrimination. This includes benefits advice, filling in application forms, attending interviews, medical assessments, writing reconsiderations, and advocating at Level 1 tribunals. These roles have solidified my passion for creating a fair and supportive workplace for all.

As a lived expert, not only of my disabilities but also of the inequalities that society imposes on disabled individuals in all aspects of life, I bring a unique and genuine perspective to this cause. The master's course will empower me with advanced knowledge and skills, covering critical topics such as intersectionality, social policy, and inclusive leadership. This education will not only bolster my ability to implement effective equality and diversity strategies but also inspire others to join our mission for a more just and inclusive society.
