Hey y’all! I’m Olivia- trail technician for the Arizona Trail Association. I’ve been given the opportunity to volunteer with a fellow trail organization, the TransCaucasian Trail Association. I’ll be traveling in August to help build this new long-distance hiking trail that crosses the countries of Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan.

If you know anything about me, it’s probably that anything related to trails or the outdoors is my passion. I love my work with the ATA because it allows me to help connect people to nature and the beauty of Arizona. The opportunity to provide the same service to another trail in a totally different corner of the world would mean so much to me. As an Arizona Trail Association employee, I would love to continue to foster the relationship and community between the ATA and the TCT. Participating in collaborations like this is also an amazing opportunity to share ideas across organizations and put what I’ve learned to use across Arizona.

Since this is a volunteer endeavor, I will need some help raising the costs of travel/time away from work. I know most of us are in a bit of a tough spot these days, but I truly appreciate anything that you’re able to give!
