Hi My name is Jess, I am mummy to an extra special little boy called Oliver. Oliver is 9 and has had an incredibly difficult start to life, born with only half a heart he required multiple palliative heart surgeries and interventions first being at 6 days old, just to be able to come home, survive, thrive and live.

Oliver quickly had many complications which meant more diagnosises were added as the months and years went on.

One of the diagnoses is Autism Spectrum Disorder, this alone gives challenges socially, emotionally, mentally, and physically.

Currently life is very restricted for Oliver and regimented and fueled by meltdowns after meltdowns. This is causing his life to be very restricted not only his but ours too!

All the things we wished for him and he wishes for himself are on hold as he just can't cope with change, new places, or new challenges.

Having a assistance dog of his own will allow him to have that confidence, allow him to cope with new challenges, and allow him to live again!
