My name is Oksana. I came to the United States with my child after our hometown in Ukraine became occupied. We are trying to rebuild our lives in safety.

I am a single mother raising my son on my own. My child has a hormonal condition and is receiving treatment thanks to the doctors here in Minnesota. Staying stable and keeping our legal status is extremely important for his health and future.

Right now I urgently need help to pay a required government filing fee of $2,000 for my immigration case. Due to the long wait for my documents and approval, I am temporarily unable to work, and my savings have been exhausted.

I also need support to cover our rent while we are waiting. Without the approval, I cannot move forward or return to legal employment.

I am doing everything I can, but at this moment I simply don’t have enough to manage these expenses in time. Any support, even small, will bring us closer to stability and a normal life for my son.
