Hi my name is Constance and I never imagined I would be writing something like this.

My dog Ohcumgache ,is not "just a pet", They are our family, my comfort on the hardest days, and the one soul who has never left my side. No matter how bad life gets, Ohcumgache is there- tail wagging, eyes full of love, reminding me that I'm not alone.

A few days ago, everything changed.

After noticing Ohcumgache struggling to breath large soft knot under his neck and belly swollen I took him to the vet that's when I heard the words that shattered my heart:

Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM).

This disease causes the heart to become weak and enlarged, making it harder for it to pump blood.

Without treatment , it can be fatal .

I am doing everything I can but the cost of vet visits and now he has to be seen at Med Vet cardiologist Diagnostics, medications and ongoing cardiac care is overwhelming. I would never normally ask for help like this , but I am out of options. I cannot imagine my life without Ohcumgache and I am fighting with everything I have to give him a chance.
