Help OGB6 Beauty Palace after vicious robbery
Donation protected
I'm fundraising for a wonderful family I'm friends with after their shop was broken into and robbed. CCTV video of robbery
Juliet and Amos are two of the kindest people I've ever met. They've personally helped me and others in the community, they show love and care to everyone they meet.
They work 6 days a week from morning to night as one of the very few black owned hair businesses in South London. The business is family run and started off very humbly - every step they've taken is a result of their hard and relentless work to provide for their family. Every new shelf, every mirror, every counter in the shop they've built with their own hands.
On 29th Sunday 2023 at around 3am, OGB6 Beauty Palace, run by Juliet, Amos and their children, was broken into and robbed. A brick was thrown through the two glass doors, two men ransacked the shop, emptied the cash register and stole expensive products and hair technology. Police did not attend the scene as they said there was nothing to be done, as there was "no blood" at the scene to be used in forensics.
They cannot afford to take one day off despite being burgled, and having medical problems they need to attend to. They're extremely proud and I had to insist on doing this.
I'm asking everyone and anyone to PLEASE show up for this unbelievably caring and kind family so they can get back on their feet and know what it's like for people to show up for them.
ANY AMOUNT HELPS and SHARE ARE HIGHLY APPRECIATED.
Much love,
Raihan.
