Help Nurse Nichole Ray End Mental Health Stigma

My name is Nichole Ray, and I’m a registered nurse from Southeast Missouri. I’ve spent my life caring for others, but now I’m fighting to protect my own rights — and the rights of every healthcare worker living with mental health challenges or using legal medical marijuana under doctor supervision.
In 2021, I lost my job and nursing license after being fired without a drug test and later punished for having a valid medical marijuana card. I was never impaired at work, and my psychiatrist and therapist — both fully aware of my treatment — continue to support me. Despite that, the Missouri State Board of Nursing has forced me into daily drug screenings and strict probation while other nurses face no such scrutiny.
This fight is not just about me. It’s about equal rights, fairness, and ending stigma against those who choose safer, legal alternatives to addictive medications. I’m raising funds to cover legal fees, compliance costs, and essentials like technology and filing expenses so I can continue my case and rebuild my life.
Every donation helps me move one step closer to clearing my name — and hopefully changing the system for the next nurse who’s afraid to speak out.
Thank you for believing in fairness, compassion, and second chances.
If you can’t donate, please share quietly — even one share can help this message reach someone who needs to hear it.
