Meet Terrance "Nunu" Fantroy, a young, deaf man from Moss Point, Mississippi, who recently lost everything in a house fire. We met Nunu several years ago through my niece, Hannah, and he’s been like family ever since. He communicates by reading lips and text and has always faced challenges, but this loss has made things even harder. Right now, Nunu is staying with us in Spanish Fort, Alabama, where we’re helping him get back on his feet with a job, a car and hopefully an apartment in the future.

Nunu is now focused on rebuilding his life in Baldwin County. The fire took not only his home and belongings, but his car is irreparable. His immediate need is a vehicle so he can to and from work. He’s determined to rebuild his life and is focused on finding a good job, securing a new vehicle, and eventually moving into his own apartment. Every contribution will help Nunu replace what he’s lost and take steps toward a brighter, more independent future.
