On Thanksgiving Day 2025, our dad, Norm Dickerson, suffered a stroke and is now unable to move his left arm and leg. He has been receiving treatment in a skilled nursing facility, but is no longer able to walk, work, or live independently. Norm requires ongoing medical care, physical therapy, and assistance with daily living. He is facing major medical expenses and an uphill financial battle until his Medicaid application is accepted.
We are raising $12,000 to cover the down payment on his group home, where he will get the 24-hour care he needs. The money will also go towards his remaining medical bills and help us clear out his home and possessions. We are asking for help so that Norm can focus on recovery without immediate financial stress.
Norm has always been a generous giver, showing up for his friends and community however he can. He and his late wife Donna have even taken those who have needed help under their roof for however long was needed. Now he needs our help. Please consider giving something, no matter how small. And if you’re unable to give, by sharing this page and keeping him in your prayers.
With love and appreciation,
the Dickerson family.
