Help Nora raise money for Community Project

- My name is Nora Elwell, and I am almost 14 years old. I am raising money for a Community Project in my small hometown in MA to benefit elementary students and keep them physically active. I am a current Life Scout, and this service project is part of earning my Eagle Scout Rank.
- My project is to build an octagon play structure called a Gaga Ball Pit, a version of a dodge ball game, but in this case, you are only allowed to hit the ball below the waist and down. I have played this game multiple times at different summer camps but have never seen it in our nearby communities. It is such a fun game. It engages children who might not be into soccer, basketball or playing at the playground to stay active. I am excited about this as I care about the well-being of children.
- This project is completely self-funded. While I applied and hoped for grants from local organizations, unfortunately this did not work out.
- I will build my Gaga Ball Pit with durable materials and make it ADA proof with a ramp and gate so disabled children can access it too. I made an extensive, detailed budget plan, and the cost for this project is $2,350. You usually have to pay thousands of dollars more if you were to buy a finished pre-kit of a Gaga Ball.
- I sincerely appreciate any funds to help me raise money for my Community Project so that children can stay physically active and have fun at the same time. Any amount is never too small. My plan is to start the project in June of 2022
