Noe Rendón Mendez, a beloved husband, father, brother, and son. My dad arrived to the United States in the year 2000. He had a dream to build a better life for himself and a future family. Throughout the years he has always been a hardworking individual providing for his family.

On January 28th 2026, my father Noe Mendez was pulled over by a highway patrol officer on his way back home from work. He never came home that night, the next day he called me and my family explaining he was detained by ICE. A few days later he was transferred to a ICE detention center in Texas.

In 2007 he applied for his papers and unfortunately while it was still pending, we had to wait till I was of age to properly sponsor him (21), with me being the oldest. Noe is a family man taking care of not only me but also my sister who has autism and my 9 year old bother. My father has not been in any trouble with the law.

Noe is an exemplary family man who loves his community. He is always available to lend a helping hand whether it was giving out food or fixing cars for people in need. He is always willing to welcome anyone with open arms and treat them like family. Whenever people were around, he made sure they were enjoying themselves and felt loved.

In 2022 we had started the process for him to receive the paper work, after four years we are still working towards this goal. Unfortunately times have been hard and with this new situation of him being detained we have been struggling financially. Noe is a good family man and has always been there for us and the community around him for better or worse. He has made America his home and he belongs here with the family he has made. Noe Mendez Rendon gran esposo padre hermano e hijo mi padre llego a los estados Unidos en el año 2000 tenia el sueño de construir una vida mejor y para su futura familia que construyo desde que es mi padre es una persona muy trabajadora amorosa y todo el tiempo esta feliz. el 28 de enero del 2026 mi padre fue detenido por un oficial de la patrulla de caminos cuando regresaba a casa del trabajo.

Al dia siguiente me llamo para explicar que habia sido detenido por ICE un día después a un centro de detencion de ICE. En el 2007 solicito sus papeles y desafortunadamente mientras el proceso aun estaba pendiente tuvimos que esperar que yo tuviera la edad necesaria para poder pedirlo adecuadamente (21 años).

Noe es un hombre de familia que no solo cuida de mi y tambien de mi hermana que es Autista. “Dios” le da hijos especiales a padres especiales y mis padres lo son, y tambien ama a mi hermanito de 9 años.

Mi padre nunca a tenido problemas con la ley. Mi papa es un hombre alegre ejemplar dedicado a su familia que ama su comunidad no habla de nadie, dispuesto a ayudar ya sea repartiendo comida o arreglando coches para personas necesitadas siempre resive a todos con la casa super limpia y con los brazos abiertos y los trata como si fueran parte de la familia. Cuando hay personas a su alrededor se asegura que se sientan bienvenidas y esten disfrutando el momento. En 2022 comenzamos para obtener sus documentos despues de 4 años tratamos de alcanzar la meta los tiempos ahora son dificiles.

Yo como su hija siempre estuvo ahi para mi en las buenas y malas ahora es mi turno de ayudarlo. Si podemos ayudar ya sea con apoyo legal, apoyo comunitario o una contribucion economica cualquier ayuda seria de gran significado para nosotros.
