In Memory of Noah Lathrop

Hello, my name is Jade and I am creating this page to help pay for my love's, Noah Lathrop, first round of cancer treatments. Noah is a loving partner and father of 5 great children. Noah enjoys providing for his family along with teaching and playing with our children. But, a couple months ago everything started to change.

 

Usually, Noah is full of energy, but he started having pain in his back, hip, and leg a few months ago. After spending time trying to deal with the pain, the pain eventually prevented Noah from doing the daily activities with the kids he enjoyed. Noah went to the doctor and was diagnosed with sciatica. After weeks of taking medication and treating sciatic problems, the pain continued to get worse. Eventually, Noah could not manage the strength to go to work, so he went to the ER. We soon learned that Noah had cancer.

Noah was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer. There is one tumor that is extremely large and now blocking his rectum. The doctor told us we need to start chemo and radiation immediately, so we can reduce the size of the tumor and remove it. If the tumor does not shrink, Noah will also lose his sphincter muscle and need a colostomy bag for the rest of his life.

Time is of the essence to save that muscle, however we have one big problem, we do not have insurance until the 1st of January. In order to give Noah the best quality of life and keep his ability to play and interact in every way with the kids, we need to start his chemo sessions ASAP.  The cost of his first chemo session is $9000 up-front. With this page, we hope to raise the $9000 by Dec 18th, so we can try to get our family's life back to normal after we beat this cancer.
