Starting Over After Losing Everything
Hi, my name is Nina, and I hate asking for help—but I’ve lost everything, and I don’t know where else to turn.
Since 2019, I’ve faced hardship after hardship. I went through a terrible divorce, homelessness, and lost all my belongings three separate times. I’ve always tried to do everything right, to work hard, pay my bills, and take care of my family—but sometimes life doesn’t seem fair.
In March 2025, I rented a house in Grand Rapids, hoping for stability. I kept the house spotless, paid my rent early every month, and even invested thousands in landscaping and remodeling. But in October 2025, rats took over the house. My grandson, who is just one year old, got sick. My daughter was hospitalized with E. coli. I hired exterminators, but the infestation was so severe that our food, furniture, and belongings were contaminated. I lost everything—clothes, furniture, rugs, even sentimental items.
I tried to resolve the situation, even offering to return if the house was properly treated, but it wasn’t. I eventually had to leave for my safety. After months of fighting in court, the judge ruled against me, and I was evicted, left with nothing.
Now, after a hip replacement on February 12, 2026, I can barely walk and have only four bags of clothes. I have no savings, my credit is damaged, and I have nowhere to live. I’m 56 years old, and I’m starting over from nothing.
I’m asking for help to rebuild my life, fix my credit, and find a safe place to live. I’m not asking for luxury, furniture, or travel—just the ability to get back on my feet.
If you can, please pray for me, share my story, or check out my YouTube channel, Unbreakable Strong Women by Nina. Even watching a few videos and sharing them would mean the world.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Every little bit helps, and I’m deeply grateful for your support.
