My name is Nicole, and over the past several months, my life has been turned upside down by a series of serious medical crises. Since January 2024, I have been hospitalized six times for conditions including congestive heart failure, severe anemia, dangerously low blood pressure, and blood clots. I am uninsured and have been unemployed since December 2024, which has left me struggling to keep up with overwhelming medical bills and basic living expenses. Despite using all my savings, I am now at a point where I can barely cover rent, utilities, and the costs of my ongoing care.

Every day is a challenge. I do not qualify for Medicaid or food stamps, and after paying for medications, copays, and necessary diagnostic tests, there is often nothing left for groceries. I have recently started relying on the food bank to get by. My most urgent needs right now are paying for my monthly medication refills, daily living expenses, and a critical treatment my oncologist and hematologist have ordered.
