Support for Rootstown's Own, Nick Malek, After Father's Unexpected Passing

Nick Malek's father, Naim, passed away unexpectedly on June 27, just weeks after Nick's graduation from Rootstown High School. This is not the first heartbreaking loss Nick has faced, as he lost his mother at a young age.

Our hearts are broken for Nick, and we send our sympathy and thoughts of comfort to him at this time.

A Rootstown Wrestling alumnus (class of 2025), Nick has always been a hard-working, determined young man. But in times of crisis, our Rover family rallies around our own and many have asked how they can express their care and support in a more tangible way. That said, we have created this fund.

Money raised from this Go Fund Me will be presented to Nick as a gift from his Rover family. We hope it can be of use to him as he moves forward in life, including toward his goal of becoming a firefighter/paramedic, a truly honorable profession.
