Nick Diaz came to our small South Dakota town after being invited to teach Spanish to teenagers at Dakota Valley High School. From the moment he arrived, Nick has gone above and beyond for our students, sharing his passion for language and culture while building strong connections with everyone he meets. For the past two years, he has paid his own way to take care of our students, covering thousands of dollars each year to keep his work visa up to date. This is no small feat, especially with a wife and child to care for on a teacher's salary. These fees are a real hardship for his family, but Nick’s commitment to our kids has never wavered. As a co-teacher who sees firsthand the difference he makes, I want to help him continue his important work.
Any money raised will go directly toward Nick paying his work visa costs, helping to relieve the financial burden on his family and allowing him to stay and teach for another year. Our kids and the entire community would be so grateful for your support. Please help us keep Nick teaching in our community!
