Nick and I have very exciting news….

WE’RE ADOPTING!

It’s hard to believe it’s actually happening. We are very excited (and a little nervous) and we are doing everything we can to be prepared to bring our sweet baby home.

Nick and I started trying to have a baby over 4 years ago, we did not anticipate how hard and trying this journey would be. Infertility is one of the hardest journeys we have ever been on and is a rare topic of discussion. The truth is, nothing can prepare you for all of what it entails. We have tried every avenue of fertility treatments with no success. After this past round of IVF, we prayed very hard for what to do next. We very quickly realized God is sending us on a different path to parenthood. We have both always wanted to be parents and are ready for this amazing journey.

What most don’t realize (including myself at first) is that domestic infant adoption can be upwards of $50,000. While this number is intimidating, we believe God has the perfect plan for us. We are applying to every grant and foundation possible but we are graciously asking for your help in this journey.

With each donation, you will be “sponsoring” a puzzle piece that goes towards adoption fees. Each person who donates will have their name written on the back of the puzzle piece (and a heart for the anonymous donors). At the end we will have a beautiful puzzle in a double sided glass frame hanging in our baby’s nursery saying “Our Missing Piece to the Puzzle”. This way they can always look back and see who helped bring them home.

We hope that by donating to our adoption you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
