Help Nicholas Restore Lives in Western NC

My name is Nicholas DiCarlo I own a small but blessed coffee shop BraVado Coffee Cafe and from day one we have tried to give back to those that give to us (the Community!) For those who don't know when I'm not working I'm in the wilderness hiking or climbing and one of my favorite places has always been western North Carolina. Above is a picture of a home I took last year nestled in a beautiful valley in the Blue Ridge Mountains somewhere around Mount Mitchell and Mount Sterling two monster peaks 5 to 7 thousand feet. On or around September 30th hurricane Helene dumped 40 Trillion gallons of water atop of these peaks creating a tidal wave of sorts for days. These beautiful safe valleys are now several feet under mud. That beautiful valley in the picture does not exist anymore, forever changing the landscape! The needs of these people are changing daily, for instance they have food now but no cooks. And again for those that don't know I was a contractor for decades. So while I was hesitant to do a gofundme because I'm already donating all I can, my employees (family) had said "think about what you can do with more money and more importantly time. That said, they will hold down the fort and I will be leaving for western NC on Nov24. I will not really be needing supplies because my truck will be loaded with all my construction tools, equipment and food such as turkeys for Thanksgiving dinners, I will then spend at least a week there allocating the money and my skills exactly where it is needed most! In a weeks time I can accomplish a lot especially with your help!! These people do not have the resources we sometimes take for granted living in more populated areas. These are the frontier towns of America. Anything will help and you can trust I will make the most of every little bit. Help me help them!!
