Hello everyone, my name is Nia, and I am a single mom to two wonderful children—my son is 5, and my daughter is 3. Recently, we faced the challenge of being displaced due to my loss of employment, which forced us to leave our home. Right now, we are staying with family members, but we are still searching for a stable place to call our own.

Their father and I have separated, and I do not have much family support. I’m determined to create a brighter future for my little ones, but it’s been a struggle to start over from scratch. I also don’t have a vehicle, which makes it difficult to get my kids to school and myself to work.

Navigating this financial burden has been incredibly challenging, which is why I’m reaching out to the community for help.
