Help NH 50501 Grow Statewide
Donation protected
NH 50501 is the New Hampshire chapter of a grassroots resistance movement that began on Reddit after the inauguration. Our mission is to empower people across the state to stand up for democracy and make their voices heard, especially those who can't travel to national protests. We believe that when people come together at their own state capitols, the impact can be just as powerful as any gathering in DC.
Our group is made up entirely of volunteers who organize online and host peaceful protests at the New Hampshire State House. Over time, we've heard from countless residents who want to get involved but don't know where to start—especially in smaller, more conservative areas where progressives often feel isolated. Our biggest challenge has been spreading the word and making sure everyone who wants to participate can find us, even if they're not active on social media.
Your support will help us take three important steps, in order of priority. First, we will use funds to cover the fees needed to register as an official nonprofit, opening up more opportunities for fundraising and outreach. Next, we plan to purchase 100 24x18 signs—similar to those used by political campaigns—to place around the state, helping us reach new members in many different areas. Finally, as a stretch goal, we hope to buy a used, enclosed trailer to make protest logistics easier and allow us to focus more on outreach. Every contribution helps us grow our movement, connect with more people, and create lasting change in New Hampshire.
