Help Ngetwai Combat Poverty in Pittsburg, KS

Hello! My name is Ngetwai Ngiramengior and I'm a senior at Pittsburg State University majoring in social work. I am currently working on my macro project, which involves helping the community overcome a specific problem that is within my reach.

Here in Pittsburg, Kansas, about 29.4% of the population experiences poverty. Poverty is considered one of the biggest contributing factors to several of the world's problems, such as homelessness and food insecurity. My community project is a food drive to help the homeless population here in Pittsburg, KS. My goal is to collect food donations (canned foods, juice boxes, granola bars,) or money donations that will be given to Wesley House. Wesley House is an organization that offers many services to the homeless population, such as a food pantry.
