Newt Birthday Fund! Help Newt Fix His Car etc!

Hi friends! It's Izzy here inviting you to celebrate our dear love, Newton Buchanan's birthday with this little fundraiser i'm organizing for him. He's had a bit of a tough go of it for some time now.

In brief, Newton has had to move 5 times in 3 years (which eviscerated his savings), lost one survival job after another, had his car stolen (on valentines day, in the middle of one of those moves), had to get a new car, which then got rear-ended, then hit by a deer, and was eventually quoted for a minimum of $2400 worth of repairs at inspection this year, which does not include a new car A/C unit (which has been busted for over a year) along with some other very adult responsibilities that he has been doing his best to keep up with despite all of these challenges. 

In short, our golden-hearted friend is in need of some community love and support! He was a little resistant to my doing this for him for a while, but I eventually got him to agree. So please join me in showing him what it means to be held and uplifted by friends and family! We're hoping to raise at least $5,000. 2.5-3K of that will go right into the car's many needs. The remaining 2K will help replenish some of his savings and support him with his other big responsibilities. He's not terribly comfortable with publicizing all of this, but he invites you to reach out to him and talk to him about it directly as friends.
