Hi everyone, my name is Keith Moore, and I’m the proud owner of a brand-new small business — MOORE Decorative Concrete Services, based in Prosper, Texas.

I officially launched my business on June 20, 2025, after months of planning, training, and saving every penny to make our dream a reality. Things were just starting to take off — a few jobs lined up, referrals coming in — and then life threw the curveball.

The Injury

Lasr Monday, October 20th, 2025, I broke my foot badly, suffering 5 different fractures and multiple open wounds that require ongoing care and rest. Doctors have told me I won’t be able to walk or return to physical work for at least two months.

Since I’m the one doing all the hands-on labor, this injury has forced me to temporarily shut down my brand-new business, right as it was starting to grow.

‍‍ Our Family Situation

My wife, Kathy, works part-time as a morality teacher, driving from Prosper to Dallas two to three times a week just to help keep things going.

We rent our home here in Prosper, and we’re still paying off two vehicles that we rely on for work and commuting. Between medical bills, rent, groceries, and caring for our new baby, it’s been a real struggle.

Our son, Max, was born in April 2025 — just six months ago. With the holidays approaching, this setback has hit especially hard.

Why I’m Asking for Help

I’ve always believed in hard work, not handouts. Asking for help isn’t easy for me. But right now, I can’t physically do the work I love, and my family needs a little support to get through this recovery period.
