My name is Aaron, and I’ve been in Nevaeh’s life since she was a young child. I have always considered Nevaeh to be my daughter, and I remain committed to supporting her the way any parent would.
Recently, Nevaeh experienced an extremely difficult and destabilizing family situation—one that has created confusion, unpredictability, and a lot of emotional weight for her. Out of respect for everyone involved, we aren’t sharing private details. What matters most is that this situation resulted in Nevaeh suddenly losing access to the car she relied on for school, work, and basic needs. A car that was originally gifted to her.
The vehicle had originally been titled in her mother’s name when it was given to Nevaeh, which meant she had no legal ability to keep it from being taken back. Overnight, she was left without transportation of any kind.
Right now, Nevaeh on her university campus with no reliable way to get to class, her job, the grocery store, medical appointments, or to visit her grandmother in South Carolina—her closest source of steady support. She is working hard to stay focused on her education, but the sudden change - being isolated without transportation is making everything significantly harder.
Our family comes from modest, working-class means. We’ve always stretched what we had and supported each other however we could, but replacing a vehicle in the middle of an unexpected crisis is beyond what we can handle alone. Nevaeh is the first in our family with a real chance to break the cycle of “just getting by,” and she has the heart and determination to do it—she just needs some stability.
Our Goal
We are raising money to get the following in place and Nevaeh safely mobile again:
• a dependable used car
• title, tags, registration, insurance, and initial maintenance
We’re not looking for anything extravagant—just something safe and reliable so she can keep her life moving forward.
How You Can Help
Your support will give Nevaeh:
• The stability she has suddenly lost
• The independence she deserves
• The ability to stay safe, stay working, and stay on track in school
If you’re able, please consider donating. Truly, any amount makes a difference. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page is a huge help, too.
We’ll share an update as soon as Nevaeh is able to secure a vehicle.
Thank you for lifting her up during an incredibly painful and unpredictable time. Your kindness will help her regain her footing and continue building the future she’s working so hard for.
